Art History Careers Day

Art History Careers Day

Posted on behalf of Association for Art History

4 December 2019

Are you an undergraduate or masters student who would like to learn more about career opportunities in the arts, culture or heritage sectors?

Would you like to know more about doctoral and post-doctoral life?

Or would you just like an opportunity to listen and chat to people about different career and research possibilities?

Join us for this year’s Association for Art History’s annual Art History Careers Day, which is taking place in partnership with the Centre for Visual Arts and Culture at the Durham University.

The day covers careers in academia, and the arts, culture and heritage sectors. Selected speakers talk about their own career journey’s and offer specific advice, experience and expertise from different professions. This year we'll  be focusing specifically on Galleries & Museums, Arts & Charities, Academia and a roundtable discussion Early Careers in the Arts.

You will find full details about the programme and speakers on our website.

The Art History Careers Day is organised by the Association for Art History's Doctoral and Early Career Research (DECR) Board. This year’s event is co-organised by Vanessa Longden (Durham University) and Freya Gowrley (University of Derby).
